50 years – Our anniversary celebration in September 2025
In September, the time had finally come: we celebrated a very special event together – 50 years of company history! We have half a century of commitment, innovation and cohesion behind us, and of course we wanted to honour this in a fitting way.
Ballistic test of the P9050 baggage lock
Our P9050 case lock was certified in accordance with DIN EN 1522/1523, protection class FB6-NS and successfully passed the ballistics test with NATO standard calibres. Even under extreme conditions, the P9050 withstood all hits – without bullet penetration or fragmentation. It has been specially developed for critical security areas such as banks, authorities or data centres and offers maximum resistance with a tamper-proof transfer process.

Security is a central concern in many industries and institutions. With advancing technology, the demand for effective access control systems is also increasing. Innovative personnel locks are key components of modern building security and safety solutions, ensuring secure and controlled access to buildings and sensitive areas.

The demand for security technology from Hummendorf is high – also due to the current global political situation. In December 2023, Bavarian Television visited us. In January 2024, the feature “Protection Is Everything – Security Technology Made in Franconia” was broadcast. The TV segment offers a unique insight into the production of our security technology and our activities around the globe.
Apprenticeships at SITEC: Insights at the 14th KRONACH TRAINING FAIR
On September 23, 2023, we took part in the 14th KRONACHER TRAINING FAIR at the Kronach school center. At the fair, students had the opportunity to learn about our various training opportunities.
Securing the future of the Franconian Forest with new trees
The Weißenbrunn-based companies SITEC GmbH and LockTec GmbH are taking another step to help the Franconian Forest. They are reforesting a plot of land owned by the city of Kronach with an additional 300 trees.
The TR-Bike: An innovative turnstile with a bicycle gate for enhanced safety and comfort
SITEC, a leading manufacturer of security technology for the protection of lives and assets, is launching the TR-Bike on the German market – an innovative turnstile with a bicycle lock that enables access for individuals with bicycles to secured areas such as bicycle parking garages, bike stations at train stations, bicycle storage facilities, company premises, residential complexes, stadiums, sports venues, recreational facilities, industrial parks, public offices, and authorities.

The Weißenbrunn-based companies SITEC and LockTec, together with the Bavarian State Forests, are planting more than 800 trees. Another tree planting campaign with the city of Kronach is already underway.
Noble companions for the mermaid and more
Vandals had destroyed the information signs at the art installations in the State Garden Show Park. Just in time for the anniversary, they have now been replaced with stainless steel versions.
