What drives us
Our story does not begin in 1975 with the founding of SITEC GmbH, but rather around 20 years earlier.
In 1954, interior architect Heinz Clausen from Kiel founded a small company specialising in interior fittings and shop construction.
However, in the 1970s it became clear that there are more important things than attractive shop counters: human lives.
A series of bank robberies both inside and outside Germany, along with terrorism from the RAF, significantly increased the public’s need for security.
In 1975, SITEC was established to meet this need. Since then, we have been committed to the protection of lives and valuables. That is what has motivated us ever since.
"There are more important things than pretty shop counters! Human lives."
Heinz Clausen
