Sensor Barrier P5230
This electromechanical barrier has been designed for entrance areas where simple but reliable separation is desired despite high foot traffic. Due to the high-quality materials used, the P5230 integrates seamlessly into any overall optical appearance. The sensor barrier can be used in one-way and two-way operation. When used for authorized access control, visible or invisible reading systems are integrated into or onto the device.
Function
In its basic state, two glass wings block the open passage. In the event of authorization, the glass wings open, allowing for safe passage. The individual operating modes can be set directly on the device by trained service technicians or by the local trained personnel via the control console or connected personal computer as needed.
Construction and Execution
The surface of the casing is made of stainless steel. All technology of the electromechanical drive, electronic control, and optical sensors is integrated into the two main bodies. Only an electrical connection is required for operation. In the event of a power failure or fire alarm (connection option available), both glass wings open automatically.
Installation
The device is mounted on level, load-bearing, and finished flooring. Depending on the floor structure, a substructure must be constructed by the customer. The power supply and any connection cable to the control console come from below. After securing the mounting frame, the device is screwed to it.
