Trunk Lock P9050

The P9050 trunk lock with two interlocking rotating doors is designed for installation indoors in a counter element or wall opening. The P9050 is used for the transfer of (cash) bags, packages, briefcases, etc. in large and central banks, savings banks, cash-in-transit companies, data centers, and judicial authorities.

The electronic control is operated via a separately installed control panel with a status display. The manually opened doors of the lock are secured against each other with feedback and hidden magnetic contacts to prevent manipulation of the control system.

Safety

The P9050 complies with the accident prevention regulations of the administrative professional associations BGV C9 (UVV-Cash Registers). For the P9050 doors, test certificates are available based on bullet-proof classes FB 4-NS or FB 6-NS.

Operation

By pressing the corresponding button on the employee side, the associated door is released for opening, indicated by the button lighting up on the control panel. The doors are electronically locked against each other, meaning only one door can be opened at a time. However, using a key switch, the operator can also open both doors to allow long items to pass through.

QR Code Function Operation (optional)

With the optional QR code function, the trunk lock is equipped with a QR code reader instead of a key switch on the customer side to enable 24/7 delivery and collection. If access rights are revoked from a supplier or collector, the QR code simply needs to be deleted or overwritten. To train a QR code, the key switch on the cash register side must be turned to manager mode. The QR code is then read and stored by the QR code reader on the customer side, e.g., via a mobile phone, in printed form, or through a QR code card (10 QR code card pairs (20 cards) and 3 deletion cards are included). The key switch is then turned back to exit manager mode. To overwrite a QR code, the described process is repeated with another QR code. To delete a QR code, one of the three provided deletion cards is scanned at the QR code reader.

Construction and Execution

The frame and doors of the P9050 trunk lock are made of sturdy steel sheet in RAL 9005, jet black, with a textured finish. The tunnel and the bottom of the lock are made from stainless steel V2A. The doors can also be doubled up with cladding panels at the construction site, allowing the lock to be seamlessly integrated into the counter design. The stops for both doors are arranged in an alternating manner, i.e., DIN left on the employee side and DIN right on the customer side (changes to door stops are of course possible, please specify when ordering).

Installation

The P9050 trunk lock is delivered fully pre-assembled. When installing, the outer door should be removed with the frame first, so that the device can be pushed from the inside to the outside into the completed wall opening. Attention should be paid to cable routing before the outer door with frame is re-screwed.

The control panel with integrated control is supplied separately and must be mounted in close proximity to the trunk  lock to allow simultaneous pressing of the buttons and opening of the inner door.

A 230 Volt / 50 Hz socket is required to connect the lock.
