With the renovation of our warehouse in Kronach, we are purposefully developing the site further. The goal of the project was to structurally reorganize the existing area and to create additional usage options for the long term. Efficiency, flexibility, and sustainable use of resources were at the core of the project.
The starting point was the decision to divide the previous hall area into several separately usable units. In this way, we are creating the infrastructural requirements both for more flexible in-house use and for the future rental of individual areas.
By reorganizing the spaces, we are significantly increasing the functionality of the hall and at the same time strengthening the economic prospects of the site.
The reconstruction presented high demands both organizationally and technically. In particular, the installed mineral wool led to significant dust development during the dismantling, which required additional occupational safety and coordination measures.
Over a period of around two weeks, three to four employees were continuously deployed. Key measures included:
A rolling scaffold enabled safe and efficient completion of the work. Thanks to a clearly structured approach, the project could be carried out as planned.
An essential component of the planning was to determine which materials could be reused. Wherever possible, components were preserved or put to further meaningful use. This approach combines economic reasoning with responsible use of resources and reflects our self-concept as a medium-sized company.
During the dismantling, five containers, each with a capacity of seven cubic meters, as well as two additional truckloads of scrap metal, were removed. The thorough dismantling was a prerequisite for the structural realignment of the area.
The results of the renovation are already clearly visible. The hall now features clearly defined areas and improved use of space. This creates new opportunities both for internal processes and for external utilization concepts.
With the structural modernization, we are creating a robust basis for future development at the Kronach site. The newly created units allow flexible adaptation to operational requirements and market changes.
The conversion marks the beginning of further measures for site development. In the coming months, the following are planned, among others:
With these measures, we are consistently advancing the functional and infrastructural development of the site.
The conversion of the warehouse in Kronach is a targeted step towards strengthening our site structure. Through clear spatial organization, sustainable planning, and systematic implementation, we are creating new economic perspectives and increasing long-term usage flexibility.
In this way, we ensure the future viability of our site and create space for further development opportunities.
