The electromechanical barrier has been designed for entry areas where simple but reliable seperation is desired despite high passage frequencies. Du to the high-quality materials used, the P5230 sensor lock is primarily used in entrance areas where great importance is attached to the inconspicuious integration of the acces control into individual room concepts. The sensor lock is designed for 1-direction as well as 2-direction operation. If the lock is used for authorised access control, reading systems will be installed visibly or invisibly on the sensor lock or intregrated in the device.
Function
In the basic condition, two glass wings close the free passageway. In case of authorization, the glass wings open and safe pasage is possible. The individual operating modes can be set on the device itself by trained service technicians or, if required, directly by a local, trained operator via control console ore connected personal computers.
Construction and execution
The surface of the body is made of stainless steel. The entire technology of the electromechanical drive, the electronic control and the optical sensors is intregrated into the two basic bodies. Only an electrical connection is required for operation. In case of power failure or fire alarm (connection possibility available) both glass wings open automatically.
Installation
The sensor lock is mounted on a level, load-bearing and finished floor. Depending on the floor structure, a substructure must be provided by the customer. The power supply and a connection cable to the control panel is from below. After fixing the mounting frame, the device is screwed to it.
